The Warsaw Ecological Economics Centre actively cooperates with Polish and foreign public administration institutions, non-governmental organisations and the private sector, supporting decision-making by preparing expert opinions, reports and recommendations on environmental economics issues.
The Warsaw Ecological Economics Centre actively cooperates with Polish and foreign public administration institutions, non-governmental organizations and the private sector, supporting decision-making by preparing expert opinions, opinions and recommendations on environmental economics issues. Our clients include: the Ministry of the Environment, the Ministry of Economy, the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, national parks, municipalities, WWF and many others.
We specialize in economic issues related to the natural environment and natural resources and their impact on social well-being. Our work to date has included:
- Analysis of the social costs and benefits of investment projects in the energy, water and sewage, transport, waste and other sectors;
- Analysis of the cost, economic and financial effectiveness of projects affecting the environment;
- Design and evaluation of the effectiveness of economic instruments affecting the environment;
- Valuation of the environmental effects of pollution of air, water and other environmental goods.
The extensive experience of our team, gained among others in our own research and international cooperation in research projects, ensures the implementation of our expertise and consulting at the highest level, while the establishment of WOEE within the structures of the University of Warsaw ensures professional management, financial support and resources, allowing the implementation of even the most ambitious orders.
