He conducts research on the valuation of non-market goods, with particular emphasis on the influence of behavioral effects on stated preferences and on improving the accuracy and reliability of results. In recent years, his contributions to various research projects have resulted in several peer-reviewed publications covering a wide range of topics, including issues related to sustainable diets and labeling, farmland biodiversity, the recreational value of trips to the Baltic Sea, preferences regarding water quality and the presence of pathogens, residents’ preferences for urban greening programs and heat-mitigation strategies, as well as the valuation of life incorporating reductions in mortality and morbidity risk.

Teaching

He teaches courses related to microeconomics and market organization.
